Ask AllStar DJ Nick Powers how long he’s been in the music business and he’ll tell you that his first function was “The Last Supper”. No, he’s not really that old….yet. But Nick probably has more function experience than any two typical DJs in the business… over 30 years. As a teenager, Nick played drums in his father’s wedding band before ever becoming a DJ! In fact, since 1974 Nick has performed at over 3,000 weddings and parties, full-time, all his adult life. He owns several different DJ systems to accommodate any sized event, and has one of the most extensive CD collections of “world music” anywhere.. and hey, we know… we’re DJs!
